Within the four main terminal buildings of George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) are coffee shops, restaurants, bars, lounges and plenty of shopping opportunities, as well as good facilities for disabled people, travel information and all of the expected passenger amenities.
There are large duty-free outlets in Terminal C and Terminal D, selling an assortment of tax-free goods. The terminal buildings (A, B, C and D) serve numerous airlines and feature convenient TerminalLink shuttle connections, well signposted restrooms, elevators and escalators, ATMs, payphones, information points and offices for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Airport Information Desks
In Terminals A, B and C of George Bush Airport, the information desks are located close to the baggage reclaim areas. In Terminal D the information desk is close to the US Customs areas. Of note, multilingual staff are available if required.
Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets
Houston's IAH Airport has good shopping facilities located within its four terminal buildings and these are particularly concentrated in Terminal C and Terminal D. Shops include convenience stores, newsagents, gift shops selling tourist souvenirs, bookstores, luggage outlets, confectionary shops, a Disney shop and the Body Shop. There are also large duty-free outlets in the Terminals C and D.
Bars, Cafés and Restaurants
Several coffee shops, cafes, fast-food restaurants and other eateries are located within the terminals. Passengers can choose between Taco Bell, Pizza Express, Mexican restaurants, American-style diners and grills, Popcorn Express and the Lobby Bar. For a quick snack, you may like to use one of the vending machines.
Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities
Visitors can take advantage of the competitive rates of exchange available in Terminal C, with just under 75 different foreign currencies being supported. Currency exchange is available each day, between the hours of 07:30 and 21:00. There are also a number of automated coin changing machines dotted about, where you can exchange dollar bills for coins.

Business facilities are available at the nearby Houston Airport Marriott hotel. With a courtesy underground train link to the hotel, facilities include an extensive business center, meeting rooms, work areas, offices and conferencing capabilities, with catering packages if required.

George Bush Airport has good facilities for travelers with special needs. These include wheelchair-friendly routes, elevators, toilets for the disabled and assistance where required. Guide dogs can make use of the pet relief areas outside of Terminals A to D.
Other Facilities
Other facilities at IAH include a lost property desk on the ground floor of Terminal A and good baby changing facilities in all of the terminals. Houston Airport works hard to help reconnect passengers with lost belongings, with lost and found offices managed by each of the airlines. Religious travelers may like to pay a visit to the Interfaith Chapel in Terminal C, which has been in operation here since 1980.
